On April 9, 2013 Township Elections were held and Spring Township will see many changes. Ryan Kufalk was elected Spring Township Supervisor, Lynn Anderson was elected Clerk,Chad Harbison was elected Road Commissioner and Scot Sell, Lindsey Voss, Gary Gibson, and Kevin Stark were elected to serve as a trustees. The Township also passed the referendum on Municipal Aggregation.

Cemetery cleanup will be June 8, 2013 starting at 8:00 am - bring a dish to pass.
Memorial Service - March 26th, 2013
The Shattuck Grove Cemetery Memorial Service will be June 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the cemetery.
Referendum - January 15th, 2013
At its January meeting, Spring Township approved an ordinance to place a referendum for Township electrical aggregation on the April ballot. Spring Township residents will have an opportunity to vote on this issue in the General Election. March 12 is the last day residents can register to vote in the General Election. Information on aggregation is available on the ComEd and ICC websites.
Shattuck Road Posted - September 18th, 2012
After reviewing the engineering report submitted by the Spring Township Road District, IDOT has posted a weight limit on the bridge over the Mosquito Creek just north of River Reach Subdivision. The weight limit is 3 tons until repairs are made to the bridge. The bridge will be posted as soon as the signs are received.
